TUNDRA SWAN PERMIT
APPLICATION INFORMATION
General Information / Requirements:
Applications are available for purchase July 1.
Application deadline is October 1.
There is a $10 non-refundable application fee for each individual hunter.
Each applicant must hold a valid N.C. hunting and N.C. waterfowl privilege license at the time
of the drawing. The basic hunting license does not include the waterfowl privilege, it must be
purchased separately. Those applicants without these licenses and their party members will be
disqualified from the drawing.
A youth hunter less than 16 years of age who is not licensed may apply for this permit, but
must be a member of a party with a properly licensed adult.
Hunters may apply individually or as a party. Maximum of 5 individuals in a party.
Duplicate permit applications will result in disqualification of the applicant and all party
members, if applicable.
Those who held a Tundra Swan Permit the prior year and failed to return the questionnaire by
the deadline will not be eligible in this year’s draw process.
